Welcome to Codexia Roleplay (RP)! This rulebook outlines the standards and expectations for players to ensure an immersive, fair, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Treat all players respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech is strictly prohibited
Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using third-party tools to gain advantages is not allowed. Report any exploits or rule violations to staff.
Remain in character at all times while in RP zones. Avoid breaking immersion by referencing real-world concepts that your character wouldn’t know.
Use designated OOC channels for non-RP discussions. Do not use OOC information to influence IC decisions (Metagaming)
Do not force actions on other players without giving them room to respond. Avoid unrealistic actions that your character couldn’t reasonably perform.
Do not use information gained outside of RP (streams, Discord, etc.) in character.
Characters must value their lives. When threatened with lethal force, comply realistically.
After your character “dies,” they forget events leading to their death. You may not return to the location of your death for 10–15 minutes
Killing another player without valid RP reason or escalation is prohibited.
Do not use vehicles as weapons without proper RP justification
Must be planned and executed with proper RP. Hostage takers must give police fair opportunity to negotiate
Criminal RP must be fair and balanced. Officers should act professionally and follow protocol.
Drive realistically and adhere to basic traffic rules when appropriate. No unrealistic stunts unless part of properly escalated RP.
Must operate IC. Fraud or scamming is allowed only when done within RP and not OOC manipulation
Players must maintain ownership appropriately. No exploiting duplication or market bugs
Use in-game voice for character interaction. No excessive background noise or soundboards unless fitting the character.
Use for detailed actions, emotes, or when voice is unavailable
Staff decisions are final. Follow instructions from moderators or admins.
Use proper channels for reporting rule breaks. Do not disrupt RP scenes with reports unless necessary
Players may appeal bans or punishments through designated systems
This rulebook may be updated at any time. Players are responsible for staying informed about rule changes.
